On November 14, 1991, Michael Jackson’s music video, Black or White was broadcast simultaneously in 27 countries with an estimated audience of 500 million people. It is the largest audience ever to view a music video.

In 1988, Michael Jackson met Princess Diana and Prince Charles, donating £150 000 to the Princes trust and £100 000 for the Childrens hospital at Great Ormand Street. In August 1988, Michael Jackson raised £60 000 to help immunise 40 000 children.
