Michael Jackson and Lisa Marie Presley Interview on Prime Time, 1995
Michael Jackson married Lisa Marie Presley on May 26, 1994, in the Dominican Republic. They had first met when seven-year-old Lisa Presley attended several of Michael Jackson concerts in Las Vegas. They were reconnected through a mutual friend in early 1993. The marriage lasted less than two years and ended with an amicable divorce settlement. Presley issued a statement on her MySpace blog regarding Michael Jackson's death on June 25, 2009, stating: "The exact scenario I saw happen on August 16th, 1977 happening again right now with Michael (A sight I never wanted to see again) just as he predicted, I am truly, truly gutted". In 1995, Michael Jackson and Lisa Marie Presley appeared on Prime Time, where they spoke at length about their relationship.
